Daniel K. Darko, PhD (President/Executive Director)

Dan is married to Maryl (1998) and has two daughters (Esther and Debbie). His ministry involvements include being a Regional Director and later the Director of Specialized Ministries & Missions in Ghana Youth for Christ; He has held pastoral positions in Ghana, Croatia, England and currently in the United States; and speaks at Christian conferences and leadership training programs in Africa, Europe and America.  He is a graduate of Ghana Christian University, Evangelical Theological Seminary (Croatia), Oxford Centre for Mission Studies and Leeds University (UK). He earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree from King's College, University of London.  Dan is a New Testament scholar and the author of No Longer Living as the Gentiles: Differentiation and Shared Ethical Values in Ephesians 4.17-6.9. He has written several articles for academic journals and Christian magazines.  As an African pastor who began ministry with no theological education, he knows the difference one can make in having basic education in theology or pastoral ministries on African Christian communities. It is for this cause that he invites you to join in equipping his fellow Africans for a better tomorrow.

    
David Jones, MBA (Board Secretary)

David P. Jones is husband to Kathi and father of nine year old Kate. As CPA and Columbia MBA, he served for 26 years as international tax and M&A partner at KPMG LLC, an international accounting and consulting firm, before retiring as of September 30, 2010 to focus full-time on ministry. He came to the Lord in 1998 and for about ten years thereafter served in various lay ministry capacities at Times Square Church in NYC. It was there that he first responded to a calling to preach by completing their two year ministry internship program for lay preachers. He then served alongside Rev. Kenneth Adams, founding pastor of Byram Bay Christian Church (BBCC), a non-denominational church in Hopatcong, NJ, that is committed to teaching the Bible, loving people and trusting God. In October 2009 he was ordained and continues to serve BBCC as co-pastor. He is expecting to complete the Master of Divinity program at the Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY, in December 2012.  For the past five years, Dave has served as board president of The American Christian School, a 45 year old private pre-K through high school college preparatory school in Morris County, NJ, committed to enabling students to think critically, communicate effectively, and excel academically for Christ. He also serves on the President’s Council of the New York based NYC Relief Bus. 

    
Andrew Stoner, MBA (Board member)
Andrew grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and gave his life to Christ at a young age. He has been very active in Christian service in the local church setting, para-church ministries and oversea mission programs. His interest in Africa became more acute in his teenage years when he had the opportunity to participate with a short term mission team that worked with Youth for Christ in Ghana. Later, he joined the ‘What’s Up? America Tour’ in 1999 and traveled with 35 college-aged students on a youth missions trip to all 50 United States and capital cities.  As a Christian leader, he has been an organizer for youth programs, prayer networks, and remains an active leader in his local church. Andrew has a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University.
